I like this piece.

I think some areas such as the feet, mouth and background could benefit from being improved and worked on, however I feel this piece works both with and without a background.

It's easy to see there is a great deal of skill in areas of this piece, especially the hair and eyes, which I feel are the main parts of this picture.

It's a good image, which does well at evoking emotions and a sense of importance. But I do feel it is somewhat lacking in terms of background, or at at least a graphic effect around the character to make up for the lack of it.

For what this is, it's a great effort and a good picture as a result.
